Despite a smooth schedule when it comes to revealing the identity of each new belligerent that we find in the KOF XV roster, SNK is forced to postpone the release date of its fighting game. Of course, the pandemic is one of the main reasons for this postponement, but SNK also wants to give itself the time to polish its fighting game, without altering its quality. It is through a message posted by Yasuyuki Oda, the producer of the series, that we learned that the decision was not easy for SNK. We imagine that the publisher will have even more time to reveal to us all the characters that we will see at the launch of the game. Now, it might be time for SNK to reveal to us the platforms on which this KOF 15 will be released .
[Announcement]Due to rising cases of COVID-19 within Japan, the development timeline for KOF XV was adjusted, with the release window changing from 2021 to Q1 2022.
We apologize and thank you for your understanding and patience. #KOFNews releasehttps://t.co/ZxJaprg6gc pic.twitter.com/1fUNfB0GG1
