Although it is selected to be part of the EVO 2022 games, KOF XV will not hesitate to organize its own tournament. SNK has also just announced the kick-off of the KOF XV ICFC Weekly Series which will start on May 26, 2022 very exactly and which will be played only online. There is therefore no need to go to a place full of people and lose your means in the face of pressure, everything will be done from home, on your sofa and under the usual conditions of classic training. Note that the tournament will take place online every Thursday (from 7 p.m.) in three regions: Europe, North America and Asia. The champions of each region will be determined through a series of 9 rounds. The competition will be based on a points system, with points awarded based on ranking from Round 1 (#1) through Round 8 (#8). The top eight will then qualify for the Round 9 Finals (#9).
On the other hand, and this is where the shoe pinches, the KOF XV ICFC Weekly Series will be played exclusively on the PC Steam version, which must upset all the console players who had tried hard since the tite was released last February. For the cashprize, not enough to jump to the ceiling, it’s $500 to which will be added the content of the crowdfunding for each round until #8.
