Kodak Black got the ocean looking a lot more green when he threw thousands of dollars into it Tuesday night while aboard a boat.
After the 24-year-old rapper was filmed tossing stacks of $100 bills into the water, one Instagram commenter got right to the point: “Drop that longitude and latitude. Asking for a friend.”
And the bucks didn’t stop there. While it’s tough to beat Kanye West’s Twitter video of him urinating on a Grammy last year, the “Zeze” rapper matches his boldness (and bathroom location) by throwing even more Benjamins into a toilet on Wednesday (June 30), appearing to flush nearly $1,000. Even when the money clogged up the toilet, he used his hands to manually shove the money down the drain.
In a combative caption alongside the ocean video, Kodak writes, “I Broke You Off When Dem F— N—as Wouldn’t Give You A Dime !!! I Ain’t Owe You Sh– N—a I Just Wanted To See You Shine !!!” the caption says. “Yeen Never Gave Me Sh– N—a I Had My Own Grind !!!!”
Fans are speculating that Kodak was throwing away so much money as a result of his feud with fellow Sniper Gang rapper and protégé Jackboy. Kodak recently went on Instagram Live to blame himself for spoiling other artists like Jackboy and helping propel their careers when they had selfish hidden agendas and didn’t express their gratitude to him after former President Donald Trump commuted Kodak’s sentence before leaving office.
Jackboy responded in his own IG Live video about how Kodak is still his “brother” and didn’t owe anyone a public explanation about their personal or professional relationship.
