Kingmakers, a medieval game featuring firearms and tanks, postponed indefinitely
The project’s release had been slated for October 8.
Independent developer Redemption Road Games and publisher tinyBuild have announced a delay for Kingmakers, which was scheduled to launch on PC on October 8. The release has been pushed back indefinitely, though the team assures players the extra time will be worth it.
In an official post on X (formerly Twitter), the studio explained the reason for the postponement: they refuse to compromise on quality in order to rush the launch.
In short, this is a hugely ambitious, no-compromise project, and we won’t remove any planned features just to ship it earlier. From day one our objective has been to craft something genuinely distinctive in terms of gameplay, scale, scope, and interactivity.
