Kelly Clarkson Drops F-Bomb and Restarts Radiohead Cover

Kelly Clarkson delivered an unforgettable moment during her August 2, 2025, residency performance in Las Vegas. Midway through her rendition of Radiohead’s “Creep,” she paused the show after blurting an expletive in response to a delightful surprise from her band.
A video posted to Instagram on August 3 shows Clarkson introducing the 1990s classic as “one of my favorite songs to cover,” before quipping, “Nobody tops the original—I just want to say that before we begin.”
Just as she prepared to sing, cellist Ismael Ariel Guerrero Bombut launched into a breathtaking countermelody during the instrumental intro. Caught off guard and missing her cue, Clarkson signaled the musicians to halt.
“I completely forgot this section existed,” she laughed in astonishment. “That was incredible! We rehearsed it at soundcheck, but you didn’t surprise me then!”
Encouraged by the warm reaction, Clarkson urged, “Let’s hear that again—start over!” as the crowd cheered.
This playful exchange is part of “Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions,” her Las Vegas residency that extends the beloved “Kellyoke” segment from The Kelly Clarkson Show. The previous night, she honored Goldie Boutilier with “The Angel and the Saint.”
The residency began in July at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and continues through mid-August, with additional performances scheduled for November.
