Keith Sweat and Bobby Brown are getting ready to rumble.
The veteran R&B heroes will go head-to-head for the next Verzuz battle, due to take place 8pm ET this Thursday, through a partnership with Essence festival.

Co-created by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz as a form of socially distanced entertainment in the midst of COVID-19, Verzuz is now in its second season.
In recent months, we’ve seen Method Man vs. Redman and D’Angelo & Friends, as well as Ashanti vs. Keyshia Cole, Jeezy vs. Gucci Mane, and Eve and Trina.
Since launching in March 2020, Verzuz has boosted sales and streams for its featured artists in addition to accumulating more than 5 billion impressions. The platform has also expanded into sports with its recent NFL collaboration, NFL Pro Bowl Verzuz. Future plans include more sport verticals as well as ventures into comedy and live events.
After year after its debut, Verzuz was acquired in March 2021 by Triller Network, parent company of the Triller app.
