Kaytranada has confirmed that his eagerly anticipated album, Ain’t No Damn Way, will land on Friday, August 15.

“Oh lord, not a new album called AIN’T NO DAMN WAY! – coming out this Friday???” the Haitian-Canadian DJ/producer exclaimed in an Instagram post here, alongside artwork depicting himself embraced by a playful, winking character. He also revealed that the lead single, “Space Invader,” will debut at midnight on Tuesday, August 12. “This project is strictly for workouts, dancing and studying—and for my people who love beats,” he added in his Instagram Story.

Ain’t No Damn Way arrives one year after his third studio album, Timeless, a 21-track collection featuring Rochelle Jordan, Don Toliver, Ravyn Lenae, Channel Tres, Childish Gambino and PinkPantheress. Timeless peaked at No. 28 on the Billboard 200 and climbed to No. 2 on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

This year, Kaytranada also remixed Mariah Carey’s “Don’t Forget About Us” for The Emancipation of Mimi (20th Anniversary Edition) and JT’s “Ran Out,” while producing Justine Skye’s “Oh Lala” and FLO’s “The Mood.”
