For nearly a year, fans of the smash-hit KPop Demon Hunters have been singing along to the anthem “Golden” from the comfort of their own homes. Now, that excitement is hitting the road as the blockbuster film prepares to launch a highly anticipated global concert tour.

On Wednesday, May 13, Netflix officially announced that it is expanding the reach of its record-breaking, two-time Oscar-winning animated feature. In collaboration with AEG Presents, the streamer promises a groundbreaking live production designed to translate the film’s vibrant energy into a spectacular stage experience.

While specific tour dates remain under wraps, eager fans can register for the official online waitlist to receive priority updates as soon as tickets are released.

Details regarding the show’s format are currently limited. It remains to be seen whether the film’s talented voice cast—including HUNTR/X vocalists EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI—will take the stage in person, or if the production will utilize cutting-edge holographic technology and virtual avatars to bring the animated protagonists to life for global audiences.

Regardless of the format, one thing is certain: the setlist will be anchored by the chart-topping KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack. The standout track “Golden” made history this past March, dominating the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks and the Billboard Global 200 for 18 weeks, eventually becoming the first K-pop song to secure an Academy Award.

The film’s immense cultural impact was further cemented when EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI were honored as the 2026 Women of the Year at the Billboard Women in Music ceremony. Reflecting on the recognition, Nuna noted, “To receive this honor and represent a song in a film that affirms its notion that the world needs women to show up as their fullest, most whole selves … it’s rewarding beyond words.”
