Jungle jumps in at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart (dated Aug. 28) with Loving in Stereo. The set starts with 8,000 equivalent album units, including 5,000 from album sales, in the week ending Aug. 19, according to MRC Data.
It’s the British act’s first No. 1 and third top 10, following Jungle (No. 3, 2014) and For Ever (No. 6, 2018).
On the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, Jungle has charted eight tracks to-date, half from Stereo: “Keep Moving” (No. 29 peak, April) and “Talk About It” (No. 39, June), as well as debuts this week for “All of the Time” (No. 29) and “Romeo,” featuring Bas (No. 41).
Jungle hit its highest rank (No. 18) on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs in July as featured on “Don’t Be Afraid” by Diplo and Damian Lazarus.
Elsewhere on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, Elton John earns his first top 10 and Dua Lipa collects her sixth as “Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)” launches at No. 3 with 3.8 million radio airplay audience impressions, 3.5 million streams and 8,600 downloads sold. The collab, which updates John’s 1972 anthem “Rocket Man” and 1990’s “Sacrifice,” also starts at No. 1 on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales, marking John’s inaugural leader and Lipa’s second, and at No. 6 on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs, becoming John’s first top 10 and Lipa’s fourth.
Tiësto and Karol G also debut in the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs top 10, at No. 6 with “Don’t Be Shy.” Tiesto’s fifth top 10 and Karol G’s first, the song opens with 3.6 million U.S. streams and 2,000 sold. Those figures further earn starts for the Dutch DJ/producer and Columbian singer on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales (No. 3) and Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs (No. 5).
Plus, Kygo captures his 20th top 10 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, bowing at No. 9 with “Love Me Now,” featuring German singer Zoe Wees, who earns her first. The Norwegian DJ/producer claims sole possession of the most top 10s in the chart’s history, dating to its January 2013 inception, passing The Chainsmokers and Calvin Harris, each with 19.
“Love” locked in 2.4 million streams and sold 700, also good for beginnings on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales (No. 13) and Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs (No. 16).
