Josh Schroeder hits No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hard Rock Producers chart (dated Aug. 28), leading for the first time thanks to his production work on three Lorna Shore tracks that appear on the latest Hot Hard Rock Songs ranking.
Leading the band’s trio of titles is “To the Hellfire,” which re-enters Hot Hard Rock Songs at No. 9 (after reaching No. 7 peak), followed by “…And I Return to Nothingness” and “Of the Abyss,” which debut at Nos. 13 and 15, respectively.
The three tracks mark Schroeder’s first production credits on Hot Hard Rock Songs.
Meanwhile, Måneskin frontman Damiano David tallies a seventh week at No. 1 on the Hard Rock Songwriters chart, thanks to his writing credits on the group’s “I Wanna Be Your Slave” and “Zitti E Buoni.” The former adds an eighth week atop Hot Hard Rock Songs, while the latter places at No. 25, after reaching No. 7.
The weekly Hard Rock Songwriters and Hard Rock Producers charts (which began in June 2019) are based on total points accrued by a songwriter and producer, respectively, for each attributed song that appears on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart; As with Billboard‘s yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally (and the dividing of points will lead to occasional ties on rankings).
