Jonathan Richman ([The Modern Lovers](https://pitchfork.com/artists/5449-the-modern-lovers/) has introduced his subsequent solo album. It’s titled SA, and is known as after the primary root observe of the Indian raga. It arrives October 1 by way of Blue Arrow Records, with a vinyl and cassette tape launch to comply with in February 2019.
Richman co-produced the document alongside spouse Nicole Montalbano and former Modern Lovers and Talking Heads member Jerry Harrison. It follows his most up-to-date full-length, Ishkode! Ishkode!, which was launched in 2016.
