Joe Jonas Hints at Secret ‘Camp Rock 3’ Plans to Dodge a Spicy Wing: ‘Sorry, Disney!’

Joe Jonas may find himself drawing Disney’s scrutiny after unintentionally hinting at a new Camp Rock 3 installment on Hot Ones Versus, even as he deftly avoided biting into a blisteringly hot “death wing.”

In the episode released on August 12, the DNCE frontman went head-to-head with his brothers Kevin and Nick. Faced with the choice to disclose the latest entry in his Notes app or sample a fiery chicken wing, Joe opted to reveal what appears to be a third Camp Rock script rather than scorch his taste buds.

“Read Camp Rock 3,” he declared as the studio fell silent. “It’s real—and it’s right here in my notes.”

The confession sparked laughter among the Hot Ones crew and his siblings, with Kevin quipping, “Nicely done, Joe.”

“Apologies, Disney!” Joe added with a grin.

While Disney has yet to confirm a sequel, the Jonas Brothers seem eager to reprise their roles from the 2010 follow-up Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. In that film, the trio portrayed members of the boy band Connect 3 opposite Demi Lovato’s Mitchie Torres.

Billboard has reached out to Disney for comment.

Notably, just two days before the Hot Ones Versus premiere, the brothers reunited with Lovato to perform “This Is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” at the Jonas Brothers’ anniversary tour opener in New Jersey.

For now, the band is balancing touring with promotion of their newly released album, Greetings From Your Hometown, which dropped on August 8.
