Jessie J Cancels U.S. Tour and Postpones European Dates Ahead of Breast Cancer Surgery: ‘Frustrated and Sad’

Jessie J has canceled all of her upcoming U.S. tour dates and postponed her European shows after learning she needs a second surgery to treat her breast cancer during the period she had planned to be on the road.

In an Instagram video posted on Thursday, August 28, the singer spoke plainly: “I have to have another surgery—nothing too alarming, but it must happen before the end of the year and falls right in the middle of my tour dates.”

She continued, “I’m so sorry and truly disappointed, but my health must come first. I need this time to heal properly.”

The decision affects all November performances in the U.S., while her October concerts across Europe have been pushed back to April 2026.

This announcement arrives three months after Jessie first revealed her early-stage breast cancer diagnosis in April—just before the release of her single “No Secrets.” In June, she underwent her initial surgery and later returned to the hospital with an infection that doctors initially suspected was a blood clot. In July, test results confirmed the cancer had not spread, prompting her to share an emotional message of gratitude with fans: “Happy tears are real. Thank you for all your prayers, love, and positive energy.”
