Jennifer Lopez found herself with a few idle hours in Istanbul before headlining the Yenikapı Festival Park show on Tuesday, August 5. According to Turkish outlets, she spent Monday afternoon wandering through the upscale Istinye Park mall, making a beeline for the Chanel boutique.
As reported by Patronlar Dünyasi, when Lopez approached the entrance, a security guard—apparently unaware of her identity—informally told her the store had reached capacity, a detail Billboard has verified. Unperturbed, she smiled and said, “No problem.”
Shortly thereafter, the same guard returned to invite her inside; Lopez politely thanked him and declined.
This season, the superstar has exemplified grace under pressure. During her July 25 concert, a wardrobe piece slipped off and couldn’t be refastened; she tossed it playfully into the crowd, quipping, “Good thing I had underwear on—I don’t usually.”
Lopez is currently touring on her Up All Night: Live in 2025 trek, which launched July 8 in Pontevedra, Spain, and has visited Hungary, Italy, Turkey, Poland, Romania, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Kazakhstan and Armenia. The run concludes with shows in Almaty, Kazakhstan on August 10 and Sardinia, Italy on August 12.
On the horizon is her film adaptation of Kiss of the Spider Woman, written and directed by Bill Condon and co-starring Diego Luna and Tonatiuh Elizarraraz, set to premiere in theaters on October 10.
