Jay-Z is back with two new songs: “Guns Go Bang” (with Kid Cudi) and “King Kong Riddim” (with Jadakiss, Conway the Machine, and BackRoad Gee) appear on the soundtrack to The Harder They Fall, a new Netflix movie that Jay-Z co-produced. The soundtrack also includes a new song from Koffee (co-written by Jay-Z), as well as a new song by Fatoumata Diawara and Ms. Lauryn Hill called “Black Woman.” Hear the soundtrack—executive produced by Jay-Z and Jeymes Samuel—below.

The Harder They Fall arrives on Netflix on November 3. The Western, directed by Jeymes Samuel, stars Jonathan Majors as Nat Love, an outlaw who seeks revenge against his enemy Rufus Buck (played by Idris Elba). The movie also stars Zazie Beetz, Lakeith Stanfield, Regina King, and others.

Jay-Z’s last solo album was 2017’s 4:44, and, in 2018, he and Beyoncé released the collaborative album Everything Is Love. Last year, Jay Electronica released his long-awaited album A Written Testimony, which heavily featured Jay-Z. Also in 2020, Jay-Z linked up with Pharrell Williams for their track “Entrepreneur.” Earlier this year, Jay-Z released his song with the late Nipsey Hussle, “What It Feels Like.” Tomorrow night (October 30), he’ll be formally inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Jay-Z spent much of 2020 working as an activist, personally calling Minnesota Governor Tim Walz seeking justice for George Floyd. And, alongside his group Team Roc (which includes Alicia Keys, Meek Mill, and Yo Gotti), he sent an open letter to Georgia officials seeking justice for Ahmaud Arbery.
