JAY-Z Clarifies He Did Not Diss Kanye on New Meek Mill Song

On “What’s Free,” a tune from Meek Mill’s new album CHAMPIONSHIPS, JAY-Z raps, “No pink hat, don’t Michael and Prince me and Ye/They separate you if you bought Michael and Prince’s DNA.” JAY has now clarified that he’s not dissing Kanye West on the tune. “The line clearly meant don’t pit me against my brothers no matter what our differences are (red hat),” he tweeted. JAY-Z has spoken out against President Donald Trump quite a few instances. Notably, Trump lashed out on JAY after the rapper condemned the president’s language throughout a CNN look.

Kanye West has continued to indicate help for Trump, meeting with him at the White House in October. West additionally wore a pink “Make America Great Again” hat on ”Saturday Night Live.”
