Jason Kelce Upset Travis Didn’t Share Taylor Swift Album Easter Eggs: “Pissing Me Off”

During her appearance on New Heights a fortnight ago, Taylor Swift subtly planted an array of Easter eggs so clandestine that even one of the show’s hosts remains completely in the dark.

In a lighthearted exchange on the latest episode, which aired Wednesday, August 27, Jason Kelce couldn’t help but press his younger brother Travis for insight into Swift’s enigmatic clues embedded in her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl. Although Travis confirmed that his fiancée had stashed hints throughout her segment, he steadfastly refused to reveal their nature.

“I’m knee-deep in Swiftie sleuthing,” confessed Jason. “I keep bombarding you and Taylor with articles I uncover. You two may not care, but I’m determined to make you read them. The silence is driving me nuts.”

All Jason received in return was Travis’s amused chuckles. When quizzed about curious trinkets in his background—clues fans speculate could reference Showgirl—the Kansas City Chiefs tight end remained blissfully noncommittal.

“What’s with the Pinocchio figurine behind you? Does it hold any significance? Does it still sit there?” Jason prodded. Travis simply replied, “Isn’t that just a Disney character?”

Although Travis wouldn’t divulge any spoilers, he did tease Swifties with praise for the album’s sound. “Taylor mentioned it’s infused with more pop-driven beats, yet her melodies and lyrical imagery are as poetic as ever. I’ve been dancing around the house nonstop,” he enthused.

This episode premiered just one day after the pair announced their engagement on Instagram, capturing hearts with images of a garden proposal and Taylor’s stunning diamond ring. Their caption read, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Two weeks earlier, Swift made her debut on New Heights, sharing anecdotes about The Life of a Showgirl, reflecting on life after the Eras Tour, her successful bid to reclaim her masters, and her blossoming romance with Travis. She famously dubbed him a “human exclamation point,” a phrase Jason admitted he plans to borrow.

“She’s brilliant, quick-witted, and hilarious,” Jason remarked of his future sister-in-law. “When she called you a human exclamation point, I thought, ‘She’s got a way with words.’”
