The Embassy of Japan is assuring fans that Taylor Swift will have time to attend the Super Bowl after her Eras Tour concert in Tokyo.

As part of her massive global Eras Tour, the pop superstar will perform sold-out concerts at Japan’s Tokyo Dome from Feb. 7-10 before taking the blockbuster trek to Australia later in the month.

On Friday (Feb. 2), the Japanese Embassy in Washington, D.C., issued a statement on X (formerly Twitter) that Swift will indeed be able to make Super Bowl LVIII to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce as his Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on Feb. 11.

“The Embassy of Japan in the United States is aware of recent media reports concerning the steps Taylor Swift will need to take to travel from Tokyo after her concert on February 10th to Las Vegas in time to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play in Super Bowl LVIII,” the statement begins.

“Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins,” the message continues, referencing Swift’s album title. “We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red.”

In a sweet viral moment after the Chiefs won the AFC Championship on Jan. 28, Swift and Kelce kissed on the field in celebration of the team’s triumph — and in a clip shared by the NFL, the tight end says “I love you” to the pop star. Swift has been there for much of the Chiefs’ outstanding season, becoming a mainstay at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium ever since going public with her and Kelce’s relationship in September.
