James Blake has been teasing some cryptic particulars for what appears to be a forthcoming LP. Blake is rumored to be readying a follow-up to 2016’s The Colour in Anything, reportedly referred to as Assume Form. A website for the album just lately surfaced that includes a short snippet of seemingly new music on loop.
On Thursday, as the Fader factors out, stories surfaced that the brand new album could be launched on January 25. Though the title and launched date of the LP haven’t been formally confirmed, an LED billboard in London, England projected the phrases “Assume Form” on Friday evening (January 4). Last yr, Blake shared the brand new tracks “If the Car Beside You Moves” and “Don’t Miss It.” Also in 2018, Blake appeared on Travis Scott’s “Stop Trying to Be God” and Jay Rock’s “King’s Dead,” which has earned him two Grammy nominations—Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.
