“It’s a leap of faith”: Cyberpunk 2077’s quest director teared up and celebrated the Phantom Liberty anniversary

The Phantom Liberty expansion for CD Projekt RED’s game delighted many.

September marks another anniversary of the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. One of the studio’s lead developers joined in the celebration.

Cyberpunk 2077’s quest director, Paweł Sasko, posted on social media and appended a smiling emoji with tear-filled eyes:

“Phantom Liberty felt like a leap of faith — a gesture of gratitude to those who stood by us and an attempt to outdo our previous expansions. We had so much to prove to ourselves. We had lost our confidence. Yet in the fire we were reborn.

Thank you to everyone who never lost faith.”
