Amazon Prime Video’s new superhero series Invincible is off to a strong start on Billboard’s Top TV Songs chart, powered by Tunefind, as a song from the show’s fourth episode, Bazzi’s “Paradise,” rules the list for April 2021.
Rankings for the Top TV Songs chart are based on song and show data provided by Tunefind and ranked using a formula blending that data with sales and streaming information tracked by MRC Data during the corresponding period of April 2021.
“Paradise,” a No. 91-peaking hit for Bazzi on the Billboard Hot 100 in May 2019, appears in Invincible’s fourth episode, which premiered April 2, following the series’ overall premiere March 25. In April 2021, “Paradise” snagged 8.7 million U.S. streams and 2,000 downloads, according to MRC Data.
Invincible claims one other spot on Top TV Songs for April 2021; Holy Fuck’s “Tom Tom,” from the show’s second episode, bows at No. 9 (653,000 streams, 1,000 downloads).
Invincible is followed by fellow newcomer The Falcon and the Winter Solider on the latest list, as the newly premiered Disney+ series holds Nos. 2 and 3. Zhu and Partywithray’s “Came for the Low” starts at No. 2 (796,000 streams, 1,000 downloads) and Shanti Dope’s “Amatz” follows at No. 3 (376,000 streams, 1,000 downloads), both after premiering in the series’ third episode (April 2).
