In an interview with Kotaku, Ismail detailed that the choice to shut was in the end about transferring on to newer and higher ventures, “Maybe due to that progress it has change into actually clear that what the 2 of us wish to do with our lives is simply totally different.” Ismail says. “After Nuclear Throne, it felt a bit like we had confirmed all the things Vlambeer needed to show, and after a well-earned break, after such a demanding undertaking we realized that we had each discovered our personal separate methods ahead.”
