Nickelodeon darling Miranda Cosgrove is reprising her role as Carly Shay in the long awaited iCarly reboot, and  Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress will both appear on the iCarly reboot as Spencer Shay and Freddie Benson, respectively.

Jeanette McCurdy unfortunately will not be returning as Sam Puckett, and the star explained during a previous appearance on Anna Faris’ Empty Inside podcast that she is done with acting. “I’m so ashamed of the parts I’ve done in the past,” McCurdy shared. “I resent my career in a lot of ways. I feel so unfulfilled by the roles that I played and felt like it was the most cheesy, embarrassing… My friends at 15, they’re not like, ‘Oh, cool, you’re on this Nickelodeon show.’ It was embarrassing.”

The new iCarly reboot also added a few more characters, including Laci Mosley as Harper, Carly’s best friend and roommate, and Jaidyn Triplett as Millicent, Freddie’s social media-savvy stepdaughter.

The 13-episode season will follow a now-adult Carly and her friends navigating life in their 20s. Watch the iCarly reboot on June 17 on Paramount+ here.
