Hollow Knight: Silksong fans warned of hacker threat — no mobile version exists

Malicious actors have tried to capitalize on Silksong’s popularity.

Hollow Knight: Silksong has attracted a great deal of attention. Yet some people have only heard of the game and aren’t deeply involved in the gaming scene, so they may not know there is no official mobile release.

Scammers targeted those users. Ads for a supposed “mobile version” of Silksong began circulating online, styled to imitate Team Cherry’s official promotional material.

Observant players reported the adverts to the developers — Matthew Griffin replied: “The best thing you can do is file a complaint on YouTube if you see this.”
