All the pregnancy “Rumors” about Lizzo and Chris Evans might not be true, but if they were, a fan has predicted what their baby would look like.
On Tuesday (Aug. 24), the Grammy-winning singer revealed a baby bump in a short TikTok video soundtracked by the “All the rumors are true” hook from her Billboard Hot 100 top 5 hit featuring Cardi B. But a week prior, user @maryscartoons had already made a virtual sketch on her computer that combined the singer and actor’s faces. The result? Let’s just say if Little America took a DNA test, it would turn out that the kid would be 50% Lizzo and 50% Evans.
Lizzo responded in a duet clip that has more than 14 million views, in which fans can see her action as the digital cartoonist handcrafts their child. “WAIT A DAMN MIN,” she captioned the clip that revealed her reaction.
The “Truth Hurts” singer previously spilled the tea about her faux pregnancy in a TikTok video earlier in August, hinting that the Captain America actor was the father when she played the Marvel movie’s theme song in the background. “This is something that I’ve been really trying to keep personal and private just between me and the father of my child, but since we’re airing out all the rumors today,” Lizzo said before putting down the phone to reveal her belly, “I’ve been sucking in!” She smiled happily while rubbing her fake baby bump and joyously yelling, “We’re going to have a little America!”
In a follow-up clip, Lizzo showed how the 40-year-old actor played along by revealing their Instagram direct messages, which houses her one infamous drunken exchange that light the fire between these two. In his response to the video, Evans wrote, “Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy” with a laughing emoji. “My mother will be so happy lol.”
