The 55th annual CMA Awards, slated to air Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, boasts several can’t-miss performances, including red-hot collaborations from Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood, as well as Mickey Guyton with Brittney Spencer and Madeline Edwards. Kane Brown will team up with Chris Young on their hit “Famous Friends,” while Dierks Bentley will be joined by HARDY and BRELAND.
This year, the CMA Awards will return to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, with performers playing before a full audience. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, last year’s ceremony aired live from Nashville’s Music City Center, with only nominees and winners in attendance.
Eric Church and Chris Stapleton are the evening’s top nominees, with five nods each. Gabby Barrett, mix engineer Jason Hall and producer Jay Joyce have four nominations each, while those with three noms are Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Maren Morris and Chris Young.
Nominees for the coveted entertainer of the year award are Church, Combs, Lambert, Stapleton and Underwood.
