Hello Games Releases Major Technical Update for No Man’s Sky
Hello Games has released the 7.04 update for No Man’s Sky, bringing dozens of fixes for quests, the Our Journey Continues expedition, space stations, corvettes, stability, and memory usage.
Following the recent Cosmos update, developer Hello Games has rolled out a new patch focused on bug fixes. Specifically, the developers resolved issues with quests and markers on the Space Anomaly, restarting the first Atlas Path mission, deep-space exploration, and debris searches.
Special attention was given to the Our Journey Continues expedition, with fixes for rewards, ships, stations, and markers, alongside a fix for an issue that could block player progress. The appearance of the Vintage Sentinel Interceptor was also improved.
The patch addresses corvette errors, including their appearance after teleportation, docking, and resource gathering. Additionally, a limit on the number of space stations a single player could own has been removed.
The update increases overall game stability by addressing crashes, loading freezes, and audio issues. Memory usage was improved on Xbox One and Switch 2, cloud effects were fixed on Mac, and adjustments were made to the virtual reality version.
