Hell is Us for Switch 2 Delayed to October Alongside Major Update
The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Hell is Us and a major update have been delayed from October 8 to October 27 due to logistics and distribution issues beyond the developers’ control.
Developer Rogue Factor explained the Switch 2 version delay as being caused by “logistics and distribution issues that are outside of our control.” Because the studio wants all players to have “the same experience at the same time,” the major update will also launch on October 27. The port is already complete, and the developers assured fans that there are no technical problems or urgent revisions.
Released in 2026 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, the game has reached 1.5 million players across all platforms, aided by its availability on Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium. Hell is Us gained recognition for its unusual approach to world exploration without maps or markers.

One of the criticisms the game faced was a limited variety of enemies. The update will add ten new Hollow Walkers, including an enemy that mimics a human wielding a melee weapon.
