Electronic collective Major Lazer will stage a free block party in downtown Las Vegas on . The celebration begins at 6:00 p.m. at the corner of Fremont Street and 6th Street; advance, no-cost RSVP is required and can be secured through the Feed the Block website.
The in-person party complements a marathon livestream the group is mounting the same day. The broadcast kicks off at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time and runs through midnight on Major Lazer’s Twitch channel, with segments originating from multiple locations around Las Vegas.
This appearance is the second Feed the Block event — the initiative debuted in April with a performance by Gryffin — and continues Major Lazer’s recent push to reconnect with fans both online and in public spaces.
The Las Vegas stream follows an August broadcast from London that reportedly attracted in excess of 210,000 unique viewers in a single hour, underscoring the group’s strong online reach.
Musically, Major Lazer released “Gangsta” in late August, their first original single since 2024; the track features Kybba alongside frequent collaborator Busy Signal, who previously contributed to the group’s 2013 hit “Watch Out for This (Bumaye).”
In August the collective also announced a lineup change with the addition of Britain-born, Jamaican-rooted artist America Foster. Her arrival expands Major Lazer into a four-member project and marks the group’s first inclusion of a female member. Diplo described the move as the start of a new chapter and said Foster brings a complementary energy to the existing dynamic with Walshy Fire and Ape Drums.
