Hayley Williams Experiences an ‘Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party’ on New Album Following Scattered Single Releases

Earlier this summer, Hayley Williams took an unconventional approach: she released a series of tracks individually across her streaming profiles, following an exclusive preview for select Good Dye Young customers who unlocked songs with special codes included in their hair dye shipments.

Now, the Paramore frontwoman has consolidated those releases into a singular album, unveiling Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party on Thursday, August 28, 2025. The collection features every previously issued song—from the title track to the single “Glum”—and adds one new composition, “Parachute.”

By distributing the songs unsequenced, Williams encouraged listeners to curate their own listening orders—and she drew inspiration for the official tracklist from the playlists fans assembled.

“Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party is now streaming everywhere,” Williams announced on Instagram. “Physical copies are available for pre-order and ship November 7. Thank you for shaping the tracklist.” She even left two blank entries in her caption, suggesting the project might grow further.

Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party arrives four years after Williams released her last solo album, Flowers for Vases / Descansos (2021), and follows her debut solo record, Petals for Armor, which peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard 200. It also comes two years after Paramore’s most recent album, This Is Why.
