ARK Community Crunch 290: Fear Evolved 5 Rates and Extra Life

Published on October 29, 2021, Community Crunch 290 combined Studio Wildcard’s Halloween message with the live Fear Evolved 5 bonuses and a reminder about the approaching Extra Life broadcast. The schedule and multipliers below describe the original 2021 event.

Extra Life 2021 broadcast

The seventh ARK Extra Life stream was due to start on November 6 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific from the studio’s Seattle headquarters and continue for 24 hours. The team planned ARK news, games and fundraising for children, with sponsor giveaways such as Blue microphones and limited-edition ARK merchandise. Players could join the fundraising team, while every donation contributed to higher rates on the official network.

Fear Evolved 5 rates

Fear Evolved 5 ran from October 26 to November 9. Official servers received 3x XP, harvesting, taming and breeding, a 0.5x mating interval and a 1.5x hexagon bonus. Small Tribes and Conquest used 4.5x XP, harvesting and taming plus 4x breeding; ARKpocalypse used 5x for all four. Those special networks also used the 0.5x mating interval and 1.5x hexagon bonus.

Community Corner

The creator section highlighted Raasclark’s ARK soundtrack video, which drew composer Gareth Coker’s attention, and a Clamen raid video covering attacks on three tribes. The post closed with Halloween-themed fan art and community screenshots.
