Hailee Steinfeld is marking a significant milestone, commemorating her inaugural Mother’s Day with a deeply personal glimpse into her new life as a mom.
To celebrate the occasion this past Sunday, May 10, Steinfeld and her husband, NFL star Josh Allen, offered fans the first intimate look at their newborn daughter. Steinfeld posted a heartfelt Instagram carousel on Monday, highlighting the warmth of their holiday celebration. While the couple has chosen to keep their baby’s name private for now, the images offer a touching introduction, including a sweet close-up of the infant’s tiny hand clutching Steinfeld’s finger.
“A day late but simply obsessed with this,” Steinfeld captioned the post, which also showcased a festive spread featuring a decadent Mother’s Day cake, a lush floral arrangement, and a collection of celebratory cards. The series concluded with a charming snapshot of the baby dressed in a polka-dot onesie and whimsical fruit-patterned socks.
The post was quickly flooded with well-wishes from friends and colleagues, including fellow actor Jeremy Renner, who shared his excitement, writing, “Happy New Mothers Day!!! I am so very happy for you.”
Steinfeld and Allen, who tied the knot in a private ceremony last May, first shared the news of their growing family via Steinfeld’s Beau Society newsletter before making it public on Instagram in December. By April, the actress confirmed in her newsletter that she had welcomed a baby girl. During an April 20 press conference, Allen expressed his profound joy regarding his new role as a father.
“I truly believe this will bring out the best version of myself, both in my professional career and my personal life. It is such a blessing,” Allen remarked. He also took a moment to commend his wife, adding, “I have an absolute rockstar of a wife who is navigating so much right now, yet she’s the one allowing me to be here today and focus on my teammates.”
