Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer, and to kick off the festivities, Old Navy unveiled a patriotic new ad on Thursday (May 27), starring H.E.R.
In the 30-second Old Navy clip, the Oscar and Grammy winning singer hits the streets of New York City while she puts a modern, rocked out spin on George Michael’s 1990 hit, “Freedom.” Decked out in red, white and blue attire and her signature sunglasses, she even gives a mini electric guitar solo.
