Remember, it was late October, Snoop Dogg was swinging in the public square, without any impunity, that his friend Dr Dre was working for Rockstar Games, for the game GTA. Many thought the rapper was composing for the upcoming GTA VI, unless it was work for the GTA The Trilogy Definitive Edition remaster. This was actually a double stake for GTA Online, since not only did Dr Dre handle the music (you’ll see why), but Dr Dre also has a role in the game. Insofar as Dr. Dre had already made a quick appearance last year for The Cayo Perisco heist. This time, he will not be limited to a two-line dialogue, but will be alongside Franklin Clinton, one of the three heroes of GTA 5, who is also making his return. In this new adventure called “The Contract”, Franklin is now at the head of an agency which aims to help showbiz stars: F. Clinton and Partner.
For his business to thrive, Franklin needs a reliable partner and a very large customer. Lamar Davis is never far to play matchmaker, while DJ Pooh offers Franklin to work with Dr Dre who has lost his smartphone on which there is unpublished music that he absolutely must recover. Rockstar Games promises an offbeat story in which we will return to the old district of Franklin where debauchery reigns and the offices of the FIB. In addition to Franklin, we will find Imani, the computer hacker Imani, the dog Chop and other protagonists not seen since 2013. The release of “The Contract” is expected on December 15th.
