Grendizer: we make you discover the Press Kit and the comic book in collector’s edition

You have no doubt noticed it: for several weeks, we have only been talking about Grendizer. 2021 is indeed the year of its big comeback on the front of the stage since we celebrate these 45 years of existence (in reality, it was in 2020, but COVID coughed…). On this occasion, the Go Nagai robot is the subject of tributes everywhere, starting with an exhibition that opened last September at the Maison de la Culture du Japon (in Paris) where we can discover the genesis of this work, relics of the past which are now worth a fortune, etc. The famous Le Grand Rex cinema will organize a 4-hour tribute evening on October 28, where many artists will be on stage. On the side of La Poste, a block of 2 stamps at 3 € was printed in 350,000 copies, and put on sale since October 11. There is also the video game that Microids is secretly preparing in its corner and which we do not know much about at the moment.

And finally, there is of course the comic strip that Kana Edition released on October 15 and which is at the heart of everyone’s attention. Not only is this the official sequel to the cartoon, but it is also a French project initiated by Christel Hoolans, the general director of publication of Kana. She has indeed succeeded in bringing together 5 authors of Franco-Belgian comics, who have worked for 5 years to put this comic together.
