The nominees for the 2019 Grammy Awards are being introduced this morning. At 8:30am Eastern / 5:30 a.m. Pacific on CBS This Morning and Apple Music, choose classes shall be introduced by Janelle Monaé, Alessia Cara (final 12 months’s Best New Artist), Shawn Mendes, and Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. The full record shall be revealed at 8:45 a.m. on the Grammys’ web site. Who will decide up nods for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist? Stay tuned right here because the nominations roll in. The Grammys happen on February 10 on the Staples Center in Los Angeles; they’ll air dwell on CBS.
At final 12 months’s Grammys, Bruno Mars won Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year, beating Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Childish Gambino, and extra. JAY-Z, who had probably the most nominations of the evening, was shut out entirely. Read Pitchfork’s review of the 2018 Grammys.
