“Gothic Mommy”: Lords of the Fallen 2 Developers Ask Players to Name Sorceress

Not everyone took the creators’ request seriously.

The developers of Lords of the Fallen 2 asked the gaming community to suggest a name for a sorceress who will be one of the new characters in the upcoming Soulslike.

While many participants engaged thoughtfully, devising elaborate names and attaching meaning to them, it was inevitable that some replies were more playful — suggesting the lady be called «Gothic Mom», «Karen» (a slang label for a demanding, chronically dissatisfied woman) or «Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower» (a boss from The Old Hunters expansion for Bloodborne — editor’s note).
