Goichi Suda Wants to Make a Gory Action Project Featuring DC’s Peacemaker
The creator of No More Heroes and Killer7 believes Grasshopper Manufacture could portray the Peacemaker at his most brutal.
Goichi Suda, known as Suda51, voiced his interest in developing a game set in the DC universe and said he would pick the Peacemaker as the protagonist. In a conversation with Future Game Show the designer stressed that such a project would allow the team to present “new ways of killing” not seen in the series or the original comics.
“I’d love to explore new methods of killing people that don’t appear in the show or the comics. That’s something we at Grasshopper Manufacture excel at: inventing ways to off all kinds of scum, doing it in a bloody and revolting manner. So yes, I’d like to show how the Peacemaker finds fresh, shocking ways to kill.”
Notably, Suda51 previously collaborated with James Gunn — now co-head of DC Studios — on the action title Lollipop Chainsaw. Gunn contributed to the game’s story and characters.
Grasshopper Manufacture is currently developing a new, blood-soaked action project — Romeo is a Dead Man — scheduled for release in 2026.
