“Godzilla Minus One” Receives Rave Reviews from Critics

The first wave of reviews for the Japanese blockbuster Godzilla: Minus Zero has arrived. This highly anticipated follow-up to the Academy Award-winning Godzilla: Minus One is set for its international theatrical release this November.

The film currently boasts an impressive 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a score of 79 out of 100 on Metacritic. Critics have lauded the movie’s “grand” visual effects, hailed it as a cinematic epic, and suggested that it warrants consideration for a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars.

Takashi Yamazaki returns to the director’s chair, with Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe reprising their lead roles.
