Giorgio Moroder Announces First Ever Live Tour

Giorgio Moroder is to embark on a dwell tour for the primary time ever, The Guardian reports. The string of European dates subsequent 12 months will see the 78-year-old synthpop legend—who sometimes excursions DJ units—taking part in piano, vocoder, and synths with a dwell band and vocalists. The live shows will embody synchronized video of Donna Summer performing. Find the complete schedule on Moroder’s website.

In a press release quoted by The Guardian, Moroder says, “It is something I have always wanted to do. Fans kept reaching out to me, asking if I would ever do a real tour. Back in the days it was unthinkable for producers to ever leave their studios. That territory was reserved for the singers. Today, DJs and music producers have become the superstars of popular dance music, so the time feels right.”
