Gary Numan, his bandmates and crew are mentioned to be heartbroken after an aged pedestrian was fatally struck by his tour bus in downtown Cleveland.
The British new wave veteran and synth-pop pioneer canceled his live performance on the Cleveland House of Blues after a 91-year-old man was reportedly hit by the automobile early Monday afternoon.
In a message posted to his social media accounts, the “Cars” singer mentioned, “we are all utterly devastated” by the accident, and that “each one considered one of us is stuffed with a unhappiness that made it not possible” to carry out Monday evening. It’s unclear if Numan was onboard the automobile on the time.
“At the moment all we can think about are the people affected by this terrible tragedy and to them we send all our love,” the message continues.

Cleveland’s House of Blues introduced the cancelation and confirmed refunds are being provided on the level of buy.
Due to unexpected circumstances, tonight’s present with Gary Numan at House of Blues Cleveland has been cancelled.

Additionally, Coast to Coast Coach launched a press release confirming they rented the bus to Numan’s tour, in accordance with WKYC-Channel 3. “We actually remorse the lack of life,” the statement reads. “We’ve notified our service, and they’re investigating this incident. In our 34 years of enterprise, this has by no means occurred.” The sufferer’s title has not been launched.
