Released in April 2018, Frostpunk was a great success from 11 Bits Studios, which claimed no less than 3 million copies sold in the space of three years. For an indie management / survival game, the feat is very real and it is therefore no surprise that the studio announces its sequel, soberly called Frostpunk 2. For the effect to be as striking as possible for this reveal, we have the right to a trailer all in CGI which allows us to appreciate the atmosphere always as desperate as the first, with for introduction, the corpse of a man frozen by the cold and on which we can observe a panel where it is written “liar” (liar). With his hands tied, his gaze down, this man seems to have been punished for his acts (crimes?) And the sentence was fatal. If we do not know much about the history of Frostpunk 2 at the moment, we do know that the events will take place 30 years after what happened in the first episode, since the coal mining gave way to oil. As usual, we will have to manage the balance between daily tasks and the fact that the population is doing well, so to say …
