This summer, French Montana celebrated a romantic milestone: an engagement to Sheikha Mahra of Dubai.
On Friday, August 29, the 40-year-old Moroccan-American artist and the 31-year-old princess announced their betrothal via a joint Instagram post.
According to People, Montana proposed during Paris Fashion Week in June, shortly after debuting on the runway for 3.PARADIS’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection. TMZ first disclosed the news.
In the Instagram snapshot, the couple clasp hands as Sheikha Mahra showcases an emerald-cut, 11.53-carat diamond ring, custom-crafted by celebrity jeweler Eric The Jeweler of Mavani & Co. The piece is valued at approximately $1.1 million.
“The refined and distinctive design beautifully embodies the couple’s extraordinary love story,” states French Montana’s public relations team in a press release obtained by People.
The release adds that while wedding preparations are underway, the families are finalizing dates and arrangements, with both sides enthusiastically supportive.
Rumors of their romance surfaced in October 2024, when Sheikha Mahra shared images of Montana exploring a UAE city, as reported by E! News.
The couple officially went public this summer, attending several Paris Fashion Week events hand in hand.
Sheikha Mahra, daughter of Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, was previously married to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, with whom she has a daughter; they separated in July 2024. Montana is also father to 16-year-old son Kruz.
