The free racing simulator RaceRoom has received a major update: the “Q3 2025 Update,” a 51 GB download.
The developers say the title has been significantly refreshed. According to the Steam page, the entire lighting engine was reworked — lighting now appears richer and more realistic, reflections have been enhanced and PBR has been introduced. Optimization has also been taken to a new level, which should improve performance.
Beyond the visual upgrades, the update also touches multiplayer. The ranking system has entered a new phase — matchmaking has been adjusted and the interface redesigned.
Alongside the update, three new cars have been added to the racing lineup:
- BMW M Hybrid V8
- Porsche 964
- Lamborghini SC63
RaceRoom remains one of the most actively supported free simulators, delivering a noticeable step forward both visually and in its online capabilities.
