Fred again.. to Play 10 Shows in 10 Cities for His “USB002” Rollout

Fred again.. has revealed plans to stage a series of 10 performances in 10 different cities over the span of 10 weeks, part of the rollout for the next installment of his USB release series.

In true Fred-again fashion, each show’s location will remain confidential until the weekend prior to the event, with the first reveal scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 28.

The concerts will showcase 10 new tracks from USB002, the second chapter of a project he launched in 2022. That original run included collaborations such as “Baby Again” (with Four Tet and Skrillex), “Rumble” (Skrillex and Flowdan), his solo cut “Jungle,” “leavemealone” (with Baby Keem) and “stayinit” (with Lil Yachty). The initial project also spawned remixes from artists including Nia Archives, HAAi and Rico Nasty.

Most recently, Fred again.. released “Victory Lap” with Skepta and PlaqueBoyMax in June; additional remix packages followed featuring contributors like Denzel Curry, Hanumankind and That Mexican OT. He also issued a recording of an intimate rooftop performance in Naples, Italy, filmed with a view of the Piazza del Plebiscito.

Reflecting on that rooftop set in the YouTube description, Fred said that after a show he often experiences a rush of adrenaline followed by a need to decompress. He explained that he sometimes plays in private to test ideas on his keyboard, and described the rooftop moment as a perfect, small-scale afterparty — playing new material up close while still feeling the energy of the crowd below, with only a few people watching him from the building’s terrace.
