Forza Horizon 6 Series 2 Update

Forza Horizon 6 Series 2 Update

Version: 375.327

General Improvements & Bug Fixes

  • System Stability: Implemented various refinements to boost overall performance and game stability.
  • Launch Optimization: Resolved an issue where starting the game following a Benchmark Mode session resulted in unusually long load times.

Artificial Intelligence

  • Difficulty Tuning: Refined AI balancing for a more consistent challenge.
  • Drivatar Behavior: Corrected a glitch affecting Drivatar conduct during race starts.

Audio Enhancements

  • Hardware Optimization: Improved audio processing efficiency for lower-end hardware configurations.
  • Vehicle Audio: Adjusted the air vent sound levels for the 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV.

Badges & Progression

  • Screechy Clean Badge: Addressed a bug that incorrectly restricted progress tracking exclusively to Touge Events.

Game Design

  • Leaderboard Accuracy: Fixed a reporting error where incorrect drivetrains were displayed on leaderboards.
  • Convoy Sync: Resolved synchronization issues where time results in Drag Meets and Time Attack Circuits failed to appear for all convoy members.

Festival Playlist

  • Challenge Fixes: Patched issues where specific Seasonal Jobs and Daily Challenges could be triggered prematurely or failed to unlock entirely.
  • Weekly Progress: Fixed a visual bug where previously completed Weekly Challenges incorrectly lacked the “Completed” status.
  • Developer Note: Retroactive points for Series 1 Daily Challenges will be granted automatically. Players can claim these by navigating to the Series 1 section within their Playlist History.

Horizon Play

  • Leveling & Progression: Fixed a bug where reaching Level 12 required an additional race entry. We have also overhauled the XP curve between Level 26 and Level 100 to drastically accelerate progress toward the “Maxed Out” Achievement.
  • Developer Note: Players already at Level 25+ will see their rank jump automatically. Those who reach Level 32 will be boosted to Level 100, immediately granting the “Maxed Out” Achievement and associated badges.

Road Discovery

  • Region Overview: Added a “Roads Driven” percentage counter for better tracking.
  • Map Accuracy: Resolved a persistent error where specific road nodes remained “undiscovered,” and fixed discrepancies between the Mini Map and the World Map.

Visual & Graphics

  • Refinements: Fixed motion blur artifacts on the 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI GSR TM Edition and corrected lighting inconsistencies during Photo Mode time-of-day transitions.
  • Environment Rendering: Eliminated green visual artifacts when photographing subjects through chain-link fencing.
  • PC Optimization: Re-enabled rain particle effects for the “High” graphics preset.
  • Upscaling: Improved the rendering of red smoke effects in Street Races when using upscaling technology.

Upgrades & Tuning

  • Drag Tire Physics: Updated the physical properties of Drag Tires to better align with their intended performance profile.
  • Developer Note: We discovered that Drag Tires were offering excessive lateral grip, making them meta-defining for non-drag events despite the Performance Index (PI) trade-off. While current PI ratings for existing tunes remain unchanged, handling capabilities have been adjusted to ensure they are no longer the superior choice for track racing. We are currently purging leaderboard times that utilized these tires unfairly. Please note that Drag-specific leaderboards remain entirely unaffected by these changes.
