Fortnite Is Down to Prepare for the New Season

Following the Fortnite Operation: Sky Fire event, the game will be down for nearly 12 hours to prepare for the new season. Server downtime is to be expected prior to the start of a new season, and it seems like a safe bet that players will be able to expect some map changes as a result. Despite this, a lot of fans are already unhappy that they won’t be able to play the game while it’s down. Fortnite has amassed a legion of fans over the years, and they remain quite passionate about the battle royale game. Unfortunately, those fans are just going to have to wait patiently while Epic Games prepares these changes.

The event trade-off wasn’t worth it for some players.
