Former Xbox Halo Veteran Bluntly Hinted That Things at Xbox Are Very Bad
Glenn Israel devoted seventeen years of his career to the Halo franchise.
Industry veteran Glenn Israel, who spent seventeen years working on the Halo series, has announced his departure from Halo Studios (formerly 343 Industries). In a post on his professional social network profile he hinted at a tense atmosphere within the studio and said he will disclose more details next year, “when it’s safe.”
As of today — after seventeen long years — I am officially no longer contributing to the Halo universe. I understand the state of our industry can feel desperate, but never forget you have a choice. Neither the illusion of safety nor the promise of wealth, fame, or power is worth sacrificing your health, dignity, ethics, or core values — and nobody should ever force you to do so.
