Forgotten PS4 Game Gets a Sequel — Let It Die: Inferno Arrives on PS5 in December
Let It Die: Inferno, the next entry from GungHo Online Entertainment, launches December 3, 2025 as a PS5 exclusive. The title expands a universe that has drawn over 9 million players worldwide and immerses you in a darkly ironic vision of the future.
Unlike the original, where players climbed the Tower, Inferno forces a descent into the Gates of Hell — a colossal rift that opened after the catastrophe. You assume the role of the immortal explorer Rider, hunting for a concealed power and fighting to survive in a world teeming with monsters and hostile humans.
The gameplay focuses on close-quarters combat and blends PvE with PvP. Each descent is procedurally regenerated: enemies, items, and weapons shift with every run. All Riders wield two weapons at once, and different combinations unlock unique maneuvers, making every attempt feel fresh.
Beyond the chaotic PvEvP within the Gates, a dedicated competitive mode is available. The developers stress that failure is part of progression — players will repeatedly struggle deeper with each attempt.
