Early details about Matt Reeves’s upcoming Batman sequel, with Robert Pattinson returning to the lead role, have emerged online.
Filming is scheduled to begin in April 2026. The plot reportedly sends Batman through another crisis of identity as he probes a new mystery. Reeves intends to set fresh challenges for his hero that will raise the sequel above the original film.
Colin Farrell’s Penguin is said to appear in five to six scenes, while Kristin Milioti’s Sofia Falcone will not be part of the sequel.
